The Massacre of Paris follows the real events of the Saint Bartholomew's Day Massacre of 1572, a violent attack on French Protestants orchestrated by Catholic forces. This unfinished play has is suspected to be a Protestant propaganda by Christopher Marlowe. In this design of this script we saw parallels to the Troubles in Northern Ireland in the 1970s. This design aims to show that these same religious prejudices are used though out history and today to divide a people. While also showing that power of propaganda and who wrights history.
